| Approved Guaranteed Maximum Price for Renovation of Boyette Springs Elementary School | |
| EXECUTIVE SUMMARY | |
A previously approved District Facilities Five Year Work Program provides for renovation of Boyette Springs Elementary School. On October 8, 2013 the Board appointed Wilder Architecture, Inc. and Skanska USA Building, Inc. to provide design and construction management services. The scope of work includes renovation of the heating, ventilating, and air conditioning (HVAC) system; resurfacing of asphalt parking lots and drives; replacement of exterior pole mounted light fixtures; new energy-efficient lighting; new ceilings and carpet; new signage; new security and fire alarm systems; a new fire sprinkler system; data network upgrades; and correction of accessibility and safety deficiencies. Project completion is scheduled for August 2014. Approval of the Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) will establish the cost for the project. |
