Approve Design Development for Roof and HVAC Equipment Replacement at Manhattan Center | |
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY | |
A previously approved District Facilities Five Year Work Program provided for the replacement of the roof at Manhattan Center. Long & Associates Architects/Engineers, Inc. and J.O. DeLotto and Sons, Inc. were selected by District staff from the approved Continuing Services Consultants list to provide design and construction management services for the project. Scope of work includes the replacement of roofs and adjacent canopies on nine buildings, including replacement of damaged wood decking, gutters, and accessories. Approximately 17 roof-top air conditioning units will also be replaced. Approval of design development as illustrated in the attachment will allow the design professional to proceed with construction documents. Project completion is scheduled for June 2014. |
