Recognition of Winners of the 2014 Microsoft Kodu Gaming Cup (Curriculum and Instruction Division)
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
On February 5, 2014, Hillsborough County Public Schools hosted the First Annual Kodu Gaming Cup, a competition for middle and high school students at which teams created 3D computer video games using Microsoft Kodu software.  At the competition, teams were provided a game scenario and were allowed to work for three hours to create the most outstanding game, as judged by district personnel using a performance and outcome rubric.  The games that are created using Microsoft Kodu software are compatible with both PC and Microsoft Xbox.     

Three students from Middleton High School’s Academy of Video Game Design were selected as winners at the 2014 Microsoft Kodu Cup.
