EXECUTIVE SUMMARY | |
The Congress-Bundestag Vocational Exchange Scholarship Program administered by Nacel Open Door provides an opportunity for 25 graduating high school seniors from across the nation to spend one year in Germany exploring their career interests.
Conceived by members of the United States Congress and the German Bundestag, this full scholarship program is designed to strengthen ties between the successor generations of each country by providing an opportunity for exchange students, our future leaders, to expand their perspectives and awareness of each other’s culture, society, history and politics. This program is supported, as well as funded, by the United States Congress and the German Bundestag. We are proud to announce that, Sara Hetherington, 2014 East Bay High School graduate has been awarded this scholarship and will spend the 2014/2015 year studying abroad, pursuing a vocational and career interest. |
