Approve Supplemental Agreement No. 3 to Lease Between the United States of America and the School Board of Hillsborough County at Tinker Elementary School on MacDill Air Force Base

The attached Supplemental Agreement No. 3 between the United States of America and the School Board of Hillsborough County is necessary to amend the July 27, 1977 Lease between the parties to locate Tinker Elementary School at MacDill Air Force Base.  The Supplemental Agreement redefines the school's original boundaries to include the retention pond used for the school's storm water resulting from the classroom addition built in 2008.  Moving the pond within the school campus would increase the Tinker campus by 1.96 acres.  The School District will now be responsible for the operation, maintenance and storm water reporting requirements.

It is common practice for the Lessee, the School Board, to review and execute agreements before the Lessor.    After School Board approval, the Agreement will be presented to the United States of America USAF Commander 6th Air Mobility Wing for consideration and approval. 

Approval of the Supplemental Agreement No. 3 to the Lease between the United States of America and the School Board of Hillsborough County, will have an annual cost of approximately $1,300 for the maintenance, operation and reporting requirements for the storm water retention pond at Tinker Elementary School.  These funds will be derived from General Millage.
