EXECUTIVE SUMMARY | |
For over 25 years, the Leadership Development Institute (LDI) at Eckerd College has provided contemporary, high-quality, assessment based leadership programs to help individuals, teams and organizations reach their leadership potential. The LDI has created a School Leadership Institute specifically designed to maximize the leadership skills of the POWER 3 Teacher Leaders. Through this 3-day institute, POWER 3 Teacher Leaders will receive leadership training and development in the following areas:

STRATEGIC OBJECTIVES | |
• Increase promotion rates at all grade levels and the percentage of high school graduates • Demonstrate consistent and effective teaching methods • Motivate students to become responsible learners • Recruit, develop, and retain a highly effective, diverse workforce • Promote a culture of safety, which is free from harassment, bullying, and aggression | |
FINANCIAL IMPACT (Budgeted: Yes) | |
Funding for this project is provided by the TIF 4 Grant. Specifically, $186,700 is allocated annually for external leadership and coaching support for the 30 Teacher Leaders in POWER 3 schools. | |
EVALUATION | |
The Leadership Institute's progress will be evaluated by the POWER 3 administrators, Professional Development supervisor, and an external evaluator | |
