| Accept the Piggyback of Invitation to Bid (ITB) #13-B-079-LL, Bus Cameras, Accessories, and Installation Between Seon Systems Sales, Inc. and the School Board of Brevard County (Business Division) | |
| EXECUTIVE SUMMARY | |
| The district will be utilizing the School Board of Brevard County agreement to purchase 78 Seon bus cameras/DVRs to retrofit existing fleet and have spares available during repairs. The cameras will be installed and configured by Transportation Department staff.
The initial term of the contract was for three years, beginning June 12, 2013, and may be renewed for one additional two-year period. Applicable Florida Department of Education (FLDOE) 6A-1.012(6) and district policy allows purchases from contracts awarded by other government agencies, district school boards, Department of Management Services (DMS), etc., at or below specified prices. This contract may be renewed by the Superintendent, per the terms of the specifications. |

| Funds of $76,674 will be available in the Transportation Department budget. Hillsborough County Public Schools negotiated an additional $25 per unit discount, which will result in a savings of $1,950. | |
| EVALUATION | |
| Contract administration or evaluation is performed by the Project Manager (end user) and Procurement Officer, who function as a team. Reviews are conducted face to face, typically quarterly, or by utilizing an online vendor performance report. Prior to soliciting a new contract, the Contract Administration team must first give consideration to the specifications and supporting data of the expiring contract. | |
