Approve Renewal Agreements with Officials Organizations for Athletic Contests, 2014/2015 (Student Services Division)
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

We request approval of the negotiated renewal agreements with the following organizations:

  • Hillsborough County Volleyball Officials Association - provide varsity and junior varsity volleyball officials for scheduled high school and middle school volleyball contests - $27,702
  • West Coast Officials Association, Incorporated - provide varsity and junior varsity football, basketball, and flag football officials for scheduled high school and middle school contests - $186,682
  • West Coast Wrestling Officials, Incorporated - provide varsity and junior varsity wrestling officials for scheduled high school contests - $21,452
STRATEGIC OBJECTIVES
• Demonstrate best financial practices • Promote a culture of safety, which is free from harassment, bullying, and aggression • Demonstrate "best practices" in all aspects of safety including students, employees, visitors, facilities, transportation, and health
FINANCIAL IMPACT (Budgeted:  Yes)
The Athletics Department has included $235,836 in the 2014/2015 budget to cover expense.
