SUBJECT / RECOMMENDATIONS
Approve Agreement of Understanding with Community Work Exposure (CWE) Site for Students with Disabilities for the 2014/2015 School Year (Student Services Division)
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
We request approval for an Agreement of Understanding for a new business to be used as a CWE site. Keeping Tampa Bay Beautiful will provide exposure to multiple positions, career exploration experiences, and opportunities to job shadow professionals in different careers. Under this one-year Agreement of Understanding, an additional school site will have the opportunity to participate allowing opportunities for approximately ten students.

FINANCIAL IMPACT (Budgeted:  Yes)
The Annual Agreement of Understanding has no financial impact. The estimated cost for transporting students to and from the business site is approximately $15,600 for the one-year period and is included in the divisional special revenue/federal programs budget for Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA).
EVALUATION
Business evaluations will serve as an integral part of assessing the effectiveness of the program. Businesses involved will be given quarterly evaluations for completion, with the final evaluations to be conducted no later than May 28, 2015.
