Approve the Expansion of the District’s Existing SAFARI Montage Installation to Include Managed Home Access (MHA) at the District’s 30 Power3 Schools (Deputy Superintendent) |

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY | |
This proposal is designed to implement targeted new education technology solutions, while leveraging existing technology already in place in the district. Teachers in the Power3 Grant will upload video and other media into SAFARI Montage for professional development and collaborative discussions on teacher best practices. Managed Home Access allows users to access content posted by the participants from outside the network within a password protected environment.
The proposal includes the addition of new hardware at the district level to increase capacity and storage. Additionally, it includes installation and the configuration of SAFARI Montage server and Managed Home Access. Finally, this proposal includes administrator training. |

The expansion will be evaluated on a monthly basis through monitoring upload reports and usage statistics.
