Recognition of the Hillsborough County Bar Association Peer Mediator of the Year Winner, Elementary and High School Essay Winners, and Law Week Art Contest Winners for the 2014 School Year | |
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY | |
Each year, the Hillsborough County Bar Association celebrates Law Day. Law Day provides educational programs in our schools and by sponsoring, along with SERVE, a Peer Mediator essay contest. The Peer Mediator of the Year will receive a prize award of $250 and the high school essay winner will receive a $150 prize award. Last year's theme was "American Democracy and the Rule of Law: Why Every Vote Matters."
The Hillsborough County Bar Association also sponsors an art contest concentrated on the same theme with a first place prize of $200, a second place prize of $150, and a third place prize of $100. |
