| Recognition of the National Parent Teacher Association (PTA) Award Winners from Hillsborough County | |
| EXECUTIVE SUMMARY | |
| PTAs and schools gain new ways to engage families in school decision-making, such as improvements to programs, practices and policies related to education, health, safety, or the arts. The 2014 Florida PTA Leadership Conference recently honored schools in Hillsborough County.
MacFarlane Park Magnet School for International Studies and Plant High School won the award for National PTA School of Excellence. This program supports and celebrates partnerships between PTAs and schools to enrich the educational experience and overall well-being for all students. MacFarlane Park Magnet School for International Studies PTA was also honored with the Florida PTA President’s Achievement Award. Steinbrenner High School PTSA also received the Florida PTA Safety Award and the PTSA Student Achievement Award. We are proud to recognize these schools. |
