SUBJECT / RECOMMENDATIONS
Request Approval of the Activities Calendar for Civil Air Patrol Field Trips - 2014/2015
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
The Civil Air Patrol (CAP) Field Trip activities calendar was developed this year by Brainard Harris, the instructor for the CAP program at Barrington Middle School.  A list of the co-curricular activities for November 2014 through December 2015 is attached.  The list represents activities which all CAP chapters may participate in with their students throughout the school year.

Approval of this calendar allows students to participate in related CAP in-county and out-of-county activities.  Through involvement in CAP activities students are able to strengthen leadership capabilities and improve personal attributes.  Students excel from their participation in CAP because of the recognition they receive, the confidence-building activities they undertake, and the opportunities provided to utilize practical and academic learning.

FINANCIAL IMPACT (Budgeted:  Yes)
