Accept the Bid Submitted by American Medical Response - Invitation to Bid (ITB) #14068-DST Ambulance and Emergency Medical Services (Business Division)
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
This bid was prepared at the request of the Athletics Department to establish fixed pricing for on-site emergency medical coverage and ambulance services for all scheduled varsity and junior varsity football games, and other athletic and various special events throughout the school year.  Tampa Fire Rescue and Hillsborough County Fire Rescue exercised their first right of refusal for this service.  This recommendation has been reviewed by the Director of Athletics.

The initial term of this agreement will end June 30, 2015, to coincide with the school year, with four one-year renewals subject to negotiations and mutual agreement.  The Superintendent is authorized to approve any renewal agreements, per the terms of the specifications.

Expenditures were $119,595 for 2013/2014, and $113,250 for 2012/2013. 
EVALUATION
Contract administration or evaluation is performed by the Project Manager (end user) and Procurement Officer, who function as a team.  Reviews are conducted face to face, typically quarterly, or by utilizing an online vendor performance report.  Prior to soliciting a new contract, the Contract Administration team must first give consideration to the specifications and supporting data of the expiring contract.
