Approve Change Order No. Two for Modular Additions at Two Sites (East Bay, Lois)

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

The Board previously approved a Guaranteed Maximum Price for Halfacre Construction Company for a project providing new modular facilities at Lois Center (Area 2) and East Bay High School (Area 5) to support the relocation of Transportation staff.  The reconciliation of direct purchases for the project requires a change order to adjust the contract amount.

Previous credits by the contractor to the District for direct purchases significantly exceeded amounts required.  As the resultant change order returning the excess funds to the contractor is for an amount greater than $100,000, Board approval is required.

This item is included in the District Capital Outlay: Local Millage.
