Approve the Agreement for Technical Services with Hammerhead Steel Drums LLC for the EdVenture After-School Programs at Just and Potter Elementary Schools, and Shore Elementary Magnet School (Academic Support and Federal Programs Division) | |
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY | |
Hammerhead Steel Drums LLC will provide one-hour percussion lessons three times per week to a total of 100 students at Just and Potter Elementary Schools, and one-hour percussion lessons two times per week to 50 students at Shore Elementary School. Students at all three schools will also receive instruction on drum line, steel drums, and barred instruments. | |

• Increase promotion rates at all grade levels and the percentage of high school graduates | |
FINANCIAL IMPACT (Budgeted: Yes) | |
The financial impact will be $24,000 ($18,000 from Title I Part A and $6,000 from Part I). | |
EVALUATION | |
Students will demonstrate their learning through performances at various events, including the annual combined end of the school year EdVenture After-School Programs celebration. | |
