| Approve Amendment #002 to Contract #HB330 for Categorical Nursing Services Funding with the Florida Department of Health, Hillsborough County (DOH) (Student Services Division) | |
| EXECUTIVE SUMMARY | |
| Approve amendment #002 to the 2014/2015 contract #HB330 Categorical Nursing Services Funding, approved at the June 24, 2014, School Board meeting. Its purpose is to expand school-based health services and increase access to health care in high poverty areas. Categorical funding is provided annually through the state general revenue dollars and used to fund registered nurse (school nurse) positions, fringes, travel, and training. The amendment was based on the Department of Health, Hillsborough's request to the Department of Health, Florida for extension of scoliosis screening date and collection of emergency information forms.
For your convenience due to the size of this contract, we have attached a separate page showing all changes. It is the practice of DOH to sign all documents after School Board approval. |
