Recognition of the 2014/2015 Most Valuable Teacher and Teacher of Promise Award for the State of Florida | |
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY | |
The American Council of Foreign Languages recently honored the 2014/2015 Most Valuable Teacher and Teacher of Promise Award at their October 16, 2014, conference in Miami, Florida. The Teacher of Promise award recognizes the beginnings of excellence in the teaching of world languages a commitment to its improvement and the Most Valuable Teacher Award is for contributions to our profession.
Ms. Silvina Iglesias from Brandon High School was the recipient of this award. She is currently working as a Peer Evaluator, has been teaching for seven years, and is always eager to learn new techniques, implement new lesson plans, and collaborate with other educators throughout our district to maximize student achievement. She is an exceptional teacher and leader in the field of world languages. |
