EXECUTIVE SUMMARY | |
Character GPS will provide seven sessions of the Journey to Life Success Program to 20 students per site. The sessions will include character education workshops, supplies, and the seven adventures that emphasize the guiding principles of Proactive Responsibility, Can do Initiative, Self-Discovery, Vision and Direction Setting, Developing Self-Management, Pursuing Meaningful Relationships, Teamwork, and Collaboration. | |

• Increase promotion rates at all grade levels and the percentage of high school graduates • Motivate students to become responsible learners • Challenge and support all students with an appropriate curriculum | |
FINANCIAL IMPACT (Budgeted: Yes) | |
This contract will be paid using Title I, Part D grant funds in the amount of $30,000. | |
EVALUATION | |
Character GPS will administer a pre- and posttest at the beginning and end of the contract period to participating students to determine if documented objectives of the program were achieved. Progress reports will be shared regularly with district staff, the program supervisor, and/or designee to discuss progress of the program objectives during the contract period. Data will be analyzed to determine the success of the program and future contracts with the provider. At the conclusion of the program, a final report will be shared with district staff. | |
