EXECUTIVE SUMMARY | |
Annually, the Governor of the State of Florida proclaims November as "Florida Parental Involvement in Education Month." Hillsborough County Council Parent Teacher Association/Parent Teacher Student Association (PTA/PTSA) is recognized as the largest child advocacy organization in Florida with 195 active PTA/PTSA units and over 50,000 members. During the month of November, as well as throughout the school year, the district hosts several events to promote increased parental engagement which include:

• Increase promotion rates at all grade levels and the percentage of high school graduates • Motivate students to become responsible learners • Promote a culture of safety, which is free from harassment, bullying, and aggression | |
