Recognition of the 2014 Tampa Bay Technology Forum (TBTF) Industry Achievement Educator of the Year Award (Curriculum and Instruction Division) | |
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY | |
The TBTF, Florida’s largest and most influential technology association, recognized the winners of its 11th Annual Industry Achievement Awards Gala at the Grand Hyatt Regency on November 21, 2014. For the very first time, TBTF recognized educators from three Tampa Bay area school districts who have impacted learning and teaching through the use of technology. Criteria for the award included use of digital tools to enhance lessons, sponsorship of out-of-school technology-related clubs, activities in science, technology, engineering, mathematics (STEM), and promotion of responsible digital citizenship amongst both students and faculty.
The 2014/2015 TBTF Transforming Teaching through the Use of Technology Educator of the Year winner was Scott Coonfare of Gibsonton Elementary School. |
