Approve Award of Contract for Heating, Ventilating, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Renovation at Coleman Middle School |

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY | |
A previously approved District Facilities Five Year Work Program provides for renovation of the HVAC system at Coleman Middle School. On September 30, 2014, the Board appointed Engineering Professionals, Inc. to provide design services. The scope of work includes replacement of existing roof top HVAC units with a new chilled water system, including new chillers, ductwork, air handling units and energy management controls. New energy efficient interior fluorescent lighting; new ceilings; new fire sprinkler system; electrical system improvements; and new interior painting is also included. |
