Approve Disciplinary Action - Instructional Support 
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Per recommendation of the Superintendent, the employees listed below are recommended for the following disciplinary action, effective March 25, 2015.  The employees are entitled to due process, which affords them the opportunity to request a grievance hearing after the final School Board action:

  • Kelvi E. Colon Pena,  Bus Driver, Transportation:  Suspend Without Pay.  Arrested and charged with Crim Poss Weap 3rd – Ammo Clip, a felony charge.
  • Sonja L. Lusk, Assistant Teacher, Boyette Springs Elementary:  Termination of Employment.  Entered into a Pretrial Diversion Program for one count of Grand Theft 300 Less Than 5K Dols and one count of Drugs-Possess (Cntl Sub WO Prescription), felony charges. 
  • Walter E. Owens, Head Custodian II, Randall Middle School:  Termination of Employment.  Misappropriation and unauthorized use of School Board equipment and property.
