Approve License Agreement Between the School Board of Hillsborough County and the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office for Installation of  Equipment for the "Eye on Crime" Program at the Northeast Corner of 56th Street and Sligh Avenue

The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office has requested permission from the School Board of Hillsborough County to install and operate video surveillance cameras and license plate recognition cameras at the northwest corner of King High School's campus, at the intersection of 56th Street and Sligh Avenue.  Installation of this equipment will not interfere with the normal operation of the school.

The sole purpose of installing and operating video surveillance cameras and license plate recognition cameras is to capture activities along 56th Street and the nearby businesses.  All plans for the installation will be submitted to the district's Florida Building Code Manager for review and permitting.  The term of this Agreement shall be perpetual, with either party having the right to terminate with thirty (30) days written notice.

Approval of the License Agreement between the School Board of Hillsborough County and the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office for installation and operation of video and surveillance and license plate recognition cameras for the "Eye on Crime" program will have no financial impact to the School Board.
