Approve Renewal of Agreement for Technical Services with Keyboard Consultants for Florida Standards Assessment (FSA) Services Provided to Visually Impaired (Student Services Division) | |
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY | |
If approved, Keyboard Consultants will provide expert reviews and proofreading services for the 2015 Spring FSA assessment materials for the State of Florida to ensure that they are appropriate and accurate. Applying the principles of universal design, the consultant will review the FSA English Language Arts (ELA) Writing passages and prompts for Grades 4-11; FSA ELA Reading passages and items for Grades 3-11; FSA Mathematics items for Grades 3-8; FSA Algebra 1 End-of-Course (EOC) assessment items; FSA Geometry EOC items; FSA Algebra 2 EOC items; and the FSA training test materials. | |

If approved, funds of $58,040 are included in the divisional special revenue/federal programs budget for FIMC-VI, Project 2739. | |
EVALUATION | |
As required in the Additional Assurances included in the 2014/2015 Project Application, quarterly data reflecting all project activities will be maintained in the Florida Department of Education/Bureau of Exceptional Education and Student Services (FLDOE/BEESS) Project Tracking System. | |
