Information Regarding Recommendations Submitted by the African American and Hispanic Male Task Force (Administration Division) | |
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY | |
Hillsborough County Public Schools (HCPS) established the African American and Hispanic Male Task Force involving key stakeholders from the community. The objective of the task force was to examine the discipline issues in greater detail and provide recommendations for improvement based on the circumstances and needs of the district.
The vision of the task force is to eliminate the school to prison pipeline and close the achievement gaps by ethnicity, gender and socio-economic groups. |
