SUBJECT / RECOMMENDATIONS
Accept the Statement of Work with ES Consulting for Supplemental Staffing Services (Information and Technology Division)
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY | |
On December 11, 2013, the Procurement Department, in conjunction with the Information and Technology (IT) Division, issued a Request for Qualification (RFQ) 13073-DST IT Supplemental Staffing. The RFQ identified qualified providers who are able to supply temporary staffing for the district’s IT Division on an as-needed basis. Based on the current need for services and the availability of Teacher Incentive Fund (TIF) grant funding, the Procurement Department, on behalf of the IT Division, used the RFQ results and Vendor Bid to submit a request for five Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) Developers to develop ETL jobs using IBM InfoSphere DataStage version 11.3.
There were 19 providers that responded with 104 applicants. Considering price, experience, preference for US Citizenship or US Permanent Residency, and contractors registered with the Office of Supplier Diversity (OSD), we selected three applicants from ES Consulting as best qualified for these requirements. ES Consulting is a registered vendor with OSD. The contracted engagement will end by September 30, 2015, when the allotted TIF funding expires. |
