SUBJECT / RECOMMENDATIONS
Accept the Statement of Work with Amzur Technologies for Supplemental Staffing Services (Information and Technology Division)
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
On December 11, 2013, the Procurement Department, in conjunction with the Information and Technology (IT) Division, issued a Request for Qualification (RFQ) 13073-DST IT Supplemental Staffing.  The RFQ identified qualified providers able to supply temporary staffing for the district’s IT Division on an as-needed basis.  Based on the current need for services and the availability of Teacher Incentive Fund (TIF) grant funding to spend on those services, the Procurement Department, on behalf of the IT Division, used the RFQ results and Vendor Bid to submit a request for five Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) Developers to Develop ETL jobs using IBM InfoSphere DataStage version 11.3.

There were 19 providers that responded with 104 applicants. Considering price, experience, preference for US Citizenship or US Permanent Residency, and contractors registered with the Office of Supplier Diversity (OSD), we selected two applicants from Amzur Technologies as best qualified for this requirement.  Amzur Technologies is a registered vendor with OSD.  The contracted engagement will end by September 30, 2015, when the allotted TIF funding expires.

STRATEGIC OBJECTIVES
FINANCIAL IMPACT (Budgeted:  Yes)
This agreement represents an amount not to exceed $157,000.  It is a time and materials arrangement where the district will only pay for the hours of service provided.  There are no additional fees for travel or per diem expenses.  TIF funds are included in the Information and Technology Division budget for this expense.
EVALUATION
The IT Division will oversee and monitor the conduct of these services and has the option to terminate the agreement at any time.
