| EXECUTIVE SUMMARY | |
| Each year, the Florida Music Educators Association recognizes one of their members to be honored with the Leadership Award.
We would like to recognize from Hillsborough County Public Schools, Melanie Faulkner, Supervisor of Elementary Music. Mrs. Faulkner supervises all elementary music and strings specialists in the district. She has a daily presence in music classrooms, supports new educators, provides quality professional development opportunities, and contributes to arts education throughout the state of Florida.
