| Approve the Piggyback Between Multiple Vendors and the State of Florida Division of Management Services (DMS) Library Furniture Contract #56121000-15-1 (Business Division) | |
| EXECUTIVE SUMMARY | |
| If approved, this piggyback will provide districtwide purchasing resources for library furniture and shelving from the following vendors: Library Interiors of Florida, Inc. (Estey shelving and Worden furniture) and Ernie Morris Enterprises (Borroughs shelving).
The initial term of the DMS contract is from February 20, 2015, through February 19, 2019. Hillsborough County Public Schools will commence its use effective May 6, 2015. This contract may be renewed by the Superintendent, per the terms of the specifications. In accordance with the Florida Department of Education Purchasing Policy 6A-1.012(5), as required by Section 1001.42(10)(j), F.S., the district school board shall receive and give consideration to the prices available to it under rules of the Department of Management Services, Division of Purchasing. District school boards may use prices established by the Division of Purchasing through its state purchasing agreement price schedule. |

| EVALUATION | |
| Contract administration or evaluation is performed by the Project Manager (end user) and Procurement Officer, who function as a team. Reviews are conducted face to face, typically quarterly, or by utilizing an online vendor performance report. Prior to soliciting a new contract, the Contract Administration team must first give consideration to the specifications and supporting data of the expiring contract. | |
