SUBJECT / RECOMMENDATIONS
Accept the Statement of Work with Computer Professional Staffing, Inc. for Supplemental Staffing Services (Information and Technology Division)
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
On December 11, 2013, the Procurement Department, in conjunction with the Information and Technology (IT) Division, issued a Request for Qualification (RFQ) 13073-DST IT Supplemental Staffing.  The RFQ identified qualified providers who are able to supply temporary staffing for the district’s IT Division on an as-needed basis.  Based on the current need for services and the availability of the School Climate Transformation grant funding, the Procurement Department, on behalf of the IT Division, used the RFQ results and VendorBid to submit a request for one Cognos Developer.

There were 16 providers that responded with 62 applicants for the Cognos Developer position.  Considering price, experience, preference for US Citizenship or US Permanent Residency, and contractors registered with the Office of Supplier Diversity (OSD), we selected the best qualified applicant from Computer Professional Staffing, Inc.  This vendor is a registered vendor with OSD.

The contracted engagement will end by September 30, 2015.  Contingent upon satisfactory performance and subject to availability of climate grant funds, the Superintendent may authorize the annual renewal of this agreement for a period that may not exceed the terms of the grant.
