Approve Acceptance of Project for Heating, Ventilating, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Renovation at Mintz Elementary School |

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY | |
A previously approved District Facilities Five Year Work Program provided for renovation of the HVAC system at Mintz Elementary School. On October 22, 2013, the Board appointed Lyle Engineering Group, Inc. to provide design services. Subsequently, the Board awarded a contract for construction to Kenyon & Partners, Inc. The scope of work included replacement of air handlers and ductwork; a new energy management control system; new energy efficient interior fluorescent lighting and LED walkway lighting; new ceilings; fire alarm upgrades; installation of a fire sprinkler system; and data network improvements. |
