Accept the Lowest, Responsive, Responsible Bid Submitted by Gator Ford - Invitation to Bid (ITB) #15066-DST Ford F-650 Trucks (Business Division) | |
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY | |
This bid was prepared at the request of Student Nutrition Services to establish fixed pricing for the purchase of two Ford F-650 box trucks. These vehicles meet the dock height requirements for the warehouse and will replace two Ford F-550 box trucks that have been deemed beyond economical repair. Award shall be to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder, as specified in the bid. This recommendation has been reviewed by the Student Nutrition Services Department Manager.
The term of this contract will remain in effect until receipt of the vehicles; the price will remain firm for a six-month period following Board approval. |

EVALUATION | |
Contract administration or evaluation is performed by the Project Manager (end user) and the Procurement Officer, who function as a team. Reviews are conducted face to face, typically quarterly, or by utilizing an online vendor performance report. Prior to soliciting a new contract, the Contract Administration Team must first give consideration to the specifications and supporting data of the expiring contract. | |
