Accept the Proposals from Multiple Vendors - Request for Proposal (RFP) #15068-MST Eminent Domain Legal Services (Business Division) | |
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY | |
On April 9, 2015, the Procurement Department, in conjunction with the Facilities Division, issued a Request for Proposal (RFP) to retain firms for future eminent domain legal services. Proposals were accepted on May 12, 2015.
Nine firms responded and a committee of district-level personnel evaluated the proposals in accordance with the stated RFP criteria. The evaluation committee recommended the top two ranked firms for award. The initial term of this contract will be for a three-year period, with two one-year renewals, subject to negotiations and mutual agreement. The Superintendent is authorized to approve any renewal agreements, per the terms of the specifications. |

EVALUATION | |
Contract administration or evaluation is performed by the Project Manager (end user) and Procurement Officer, who function as a team. Reviews are conducted face to face, typically quarterly, or by utilizing an online vendor performance report. Prior to soliciting a new contract, the Contract Administration team must first give consideration to the specifications and supporting data of the expiring contract. | |
