 Approve Job Description for Graphics Designer
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Creating the Graphic Designer position will allow for the reclassification of two employees (currently assigned as Printer II) into a position that aligns with their current job function. The job description has been updated from the previous title of Graphic Artist (to Graphic Designer) as a reflection of current job trends and the increased use of technology in this field.  The job description is attached as a supporting document.

FINANCIAL IMPACT (Budgeted:  No)
This new job description updates a 1995 deactivated job description, Graphics Artist, and is a pay grade 22 – Base pay $13.42/hour.  The Printer 2 pay grade is 19 – Base pay $11.60/hour.  The annual difference between pay grade 19 and 22 is $3,683.68 for each employee.
