Approve Renewal of the Agreement of Understanding with Aramark University of South Florida (USF) for Training Sites for Adult Students with Disabilities Programs
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
We request approval of the renewal Agreement for Aramark USF for training sites for adult students with disabilities programs. Adult students with disabilities programs provides educational services targeted to the assessed needs of adult trainees recommended by various agencies within the parameters of approved district curricula through adult individual education plans.

The utilization of non-school site properties provides training opportunities for individuals with special needs. Collaboration by the district with this training partner includes annual evaluation of the program towards ensuring that each trainee can live and work independently in the community. Training is provided in job readiness skills, employability skills, life skills, job preparation, on-the-job training, and hands-on applications.

FINANCIAL IMPACT (Budgeted:  Yes)
This program is supported by Workforce Education funds.  Classroom space is provided rent-free to the district.
EVALUATION
During the 2014/2015 school year, 10 adult students with disabilities enrolled and received average to above average performance ratings by their supervisors on their job training evaluations. As of June 1, 2015, 100 percent of the students exiting the program are employed. The effectiveness of the instructional program is assessed annually through program completion data.
