Approve the Naming of the Athletic Complex at Alonso High School
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
The Alonso Hoigh School faculty, staff, students, PTSA and Business Partners  have requested that the athletic complex at Alonso high School be named the Louis R. Diaz Athletic Complex in honor of Mr. Diaz.

Mr. Diaz was the first Assistant Principal for Administration (overseeing Athletics) and the second Principal for Alonso High School.  The students and faculty of Alonso High School past and present, have been significantly impacted by Mr. Diaz and his caring and positive attitude.  Mr. Diaz has an unwavering commitment to the health, well-being and education of all students. 

It would be an honor to the faculty, staff, students, PTSA and Business Partners to have the athletic complex named the Louis R. Diaz Athletic Complex.

There is no financial impact to the district for the naming of the athletic complex.
