| Approve Contract for Legal Services with Adams and Reese LLP (Business Division) | |
| EXECUTIVE SUMMARY | |
| The proposed contract incorporates the terms of School Board Policy 0156, which provides for the School Board's legal counsel. The contract does not change the terms or conditions of the engagement of Adams and Reese LLP to provide the School Board attorney and other legal services. This contract is limited to work on behalf of The School Board of Hillsborough County, Florida related to litigation, including the prosecution or defense of any federal, state, and local judicial and administrative proceedings and appeals brought by or against the School Board.
This agreement shall be effective July 15, 2015. The retention of the firm remains subject to the pleasure of the School Board, which may terminate the contract at any time with written notice. The fees and expenses to be paid to the firm and the scope of legal services remain unchanged. |
