Approve Acceptance of Project for Renovation of Buildings 500 and 600 at Young Middle School |

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY | |
A previously approved District Facilities Five Year Work Program provided for replacement of the roof at Young Middle School. Because Building 600 also required replacement of the roof top heating, ventilating and air conditioning (HVAC) equipment, District staff selected Cooper Johnson Smith Architects, Inc. and Allstate Construction, Inc. to provide design and construction management services for a project to accomplish the Building 600 work. The scope of work provided for replacement of the roof and roof top equipment, and also included new ceilings and lights and fire code upgrades. The design professional has certified that the work is complete in accordance with the plans and specifications and other contract documents and recommends Board Acceptance. |
