| EXECUTIVE SUMMARY | |
Metajourn has supported the development and implementation of the Hillsborough County Public Schools Assistant Principal (AP) Mentoring Program for the past three years. They provided training to over 100 AP mentors and developed a Master Mentor Certification Program to build capacity of AP mentors to serve as future mentor trainers. Consultants from Metajourn initially certified eight Master Mentors. The contract will allow Metajourn to certify an additional group of six mentors to serve as Master Mentors. Due to the large number of AP appointments, the mentoring program has grown and so has the need for additional Master Mentors. The new group of Master Mentors will receive face-to-face training, support through quarterly meetings, mentoring resources, and ongoing coaching in the field. As a result, a total of 14 mentors will have been certified as Master Mentors and will be able to support the development of future mentors who are selected to serve new APs in the district. |

| Funding for this project is provided by the Wallace Foundation Principal Pipeline Grant in the amount of $23,000. | |
| EVALUATION | |
| The evaluation will include analyzing data from impact surveys completed by new APs regarding the support received from mentors. Data will also be collected from mentors regarding the quality of training and support received from Master Mentors. | |
