| EXECUTIVE SUMMARY | |
| Currently over 2,000 employees including bookkeepers, Secretary 4s, accountants, accounting clerks, and the entire business team use more than 1,000 SAP Business Objects reports in their day-to-day working and research activities. This much-needed tool is used at all sites across the district to insure fiscal responsibility and stewardship. Additional reports are used by schools and district level teams to track detailed data from our Student Information System.
This purchase provides the most secure and up-to-date version of the software, regular upgrades to the product, annual ongoing software support, and increased capacity to meet the district’s growing information needs. The discounted rate of this purchase is 77 percent off the list price, resulting in a one-time cost avoidance of $1,839,700 and an ongoing annual cost avoidance of $404,734. |

The cost of this item totals $714,499 and are available in the districtwide project 5327. The total expenditure amount of $714,499 reflects 19 percent of the current project total. As of September 17, 2015, the budgeted amount for districtwide project 5327 equals $4,005,973.86. | |
