SUBJECT / RECOMMENDATIONS
Approve the Agreement for Technical Services with Cross and Joftus, LLC (Student Services Division)
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Upon approval, the Student Services Department will continue to build its capacity to strategically plan and coordinate student service delivery to meet the needs of the diverse student populations served across Hillsborough County Public Schools (HCPS).  Particular emphasis will be placed on providing a swift, targeted response when there is a risk or indication of potential violence surrounding a school.

As a part of this work, departmental staff endeavors to examine how well each of the teams within the department are aligned and coordinated in order to support schools effectively to meet the ever-changing needs of the students.  Croft & Joftus, LLC will support this effort by continuing to assess and review specifically how resources and supports are organized and coordinated to meet school needs.  This consulting organization will then work with the Student Services Department to implement strategies to bolster the department as it actualizes its vision of increased internal and external collaboration to improve the overall delivery of services to students.
