| Accept the Statement of Work with Amzur Technologies for Supplemental Staffing Services (Information and Technology Division) | |
| EXECUTIVE SUMMARY | |
| On August 11, 2015, the Board approved a short-term agreement with Amzur Technologies to provide for an Advanced Interactive Executive (AIX) Systems Administrator while the Information and Technology (IT) Division continued searching for a qualified candidate to hire for the position. The position is necessary to maintain the AIX operating systems supporting district business critical applications, such as Lawson and IBM Content Manager. Lawson software is used to provide the district’s finance and human resources applications and International Business Machines (IBM) Content Manager is used for storage and retrieval of imaged documents and reports. This agreement will continue the required support until the end of January 2016 while IT continues the search for an AIX Systems Administrator to hire.
Amzur Technologies is a registered vendor with the Office of Supplier Diversity (OSD). This engagement is a contracted engagement to begin October 1, 2015, and end by January 30, 2016. |

| The cost for this agenda item will not exceed $65,280. There are no additional fees for travel or per diem expenses. Funds in the amount of $65,280 will be available in the E-Rate reimbursement budget for this expense. For tracking purposes, the project number specific to the E-Rate program is 5311. The expenditure amount of $65,280 reflects less than 4 percent of the total budget for this program. As of September 16, 2015, the forecasted budget amount for the E-Rate program in project 5311 equals $2,000,000. | |

| IT Division staff will oversee and monitor the conduct of these services and has the option to terminate the agreement at any time. | |
