Accept the Piggyback Between Office Depot and The Cooperative Purchasing Network (TCPN) Contract #R5243 Managed Print Solutions (Business Division)
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

If approved, the district will be utilizing the TCPN contract for the purchase of occasional print services.  TCPN is one of the largest cooperative procurement programs for public agencies, educational institutions, and non-profit organizations in the United States.

At times, Central Printing is inundated with work orders, often with short lead-time notification.  This contract has a preset, per page cost for black and white print and color copies.  Included in the page price are pre-packed quantities, shrink wrap protection, and free shipping direct to the end user. Collier County Public Schools and Polk County Public Schools have utilized these services for assessment materials as the Office Depot print facilities are secured.  Office Depot conforms to Data Protection Standards (DPS) ensuring security and confidentiality.  A copy of the DPS can be obtained from the Procurement Department.

Funds are available in the Central Printing Internal Services budget – Other Purchased Services. These are pass through expenses as sites reimburse Central Printing. 
EVALUATION
Contract administration or evaluation is performed by the Project Manager (end user) and Procurement Officer, who function as a team. Reviews are performed annually or by utilizing an online vendor performance report. Prior to soliciting a new contract, the Contract Administration team must first give consideration to the specifications and supporting data of the expiring contract.
