Approve Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) Between PACE Reach Counseling Services and The School Board of Hillsborough County, Florida (HCPS) (Student Services Division) | |
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY | |
PACE Reach Counseling Services and HCPS enter into this agreement to pilot a collaboration between both parties to provide needed services and to coordinate referred youth with in-school and at-home outpatient services. The goal of this collaboration is to provide seamless support to referred youth in order to increase the youth's functionality, their success in school and the community, and contribute to reducing the Hillsborough County juvenile recidivism rates. Youth who meet the referral criteria will be in grades 6 through 8, at select schools, who are displaying risk factors such as but not limited to academic underachievement, runaway, truancy, family conflict, ungovernable behavior or mental health issues. This MOU will begin on November 18, 2015, and continue through June 30, 2016. | |

EVALUATION | |
Program services are reviewed by a management team. This team will review outcome data quarterly and annually on all students served. Input will also be solicited from the administrators of the participating schools. | |
