The scope of work would include a review of documents provided by the district prior to a site visit and an on-site review of the district’s transportation and human resources operations. The strategic support team would use three full days to conduct interviews with staff members; to observe real-time operations of these departments; and review additional documents, reports, and data. The last day of the site visit will be devoted to synthesizing and refining the team’s findings and recommendations prior to departing the district. After the site visit, the CGCS would forward a report that evaluates and makes recommendations to help optimize the functions of the Transportation Department and the role of Human Resources in supporting that work. The proposed scope of work specifies that the report would be completed within a reasonable timeframe.
