EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Approve the Mediation Agreement of Todd McNamee, Jody McNamee individually and as parents of Sean McNamee, a minor vs. The School Board of Hillsborough County, Case No. 14-CA-009239, according to the terms of the attached mediation agreement and authorize the School Board Chair to execute the agreement.

FINANCIAL IMPACT (Budgeted:  No)
The $300,000 (sovereign immunity limit) payment is included in anticipated expenses from the self-insurance fund. The $1.7 million excess of sovereign immunity limits is not budgeted and is only payable with a claims bill passage by the Florida Legislature.  All other items, where necessary, will be budgeted in future years.
