The Plant City High School faculty, staff, parents, and students have requested that the media center at Plant City High School be named the Leslie B. Rice Media Center.

Leslie B. Rice dedicated thirty-seven years to the students of Plant City High School.  Mrs. Rice influenced and enriched the lives of many students and families in the Plant City community throughout her educational career.

Leslie Rice will forever be admired and respected for her unwavering support to students and colleagues, dedication to her students and teaching, her love of reading, witty sense of humor, her innovative approach to student learning, her talent to inspire and motivate others, and her ability to push students to their unknown potential, expect the most, and getting the desired results.

It would be an honor to the faculty, staff, parents, and students to have the approval for the naming and dedication of the Leslie B. Rice Media Center at Plant City High School.
