Hispanic Educators for Change
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
The School Board of Hillsborough County and the Office of the Superintendent realize the need to look at a new way of educating, advocating, and empowering the growing Hispanic community.  There is a continuous need to revitalize and strengthen our schools throughout the district, as well as to make sure there is accessibility to exceptional public education in every area of the district for our students. The Superintendent asked the Chief of Staff and a committee of educators, community leaders, and university partners to study and analyze various sources of data and create strategic recommendations.  Recommendations will be aligned to the Strategic Plan, which will provide the necessary resources to create welcoming school environments for our students.
