Approve Appointment of a Design Professional for Roof Replacement at Jefferson High School | |
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY | |
A previously approved District Facilities Five Year Work Program provides for replacement of most of the roof at Jefferson High School. The project scope includes replacement of four rooftop energy recovery units in conjunction with the roof replacement. Appointment of a design professional for the project is required. Florida Statutes and School Board policy outline the process and requirements for selection of architects, engineers, and construction managers. Attachment A summarizes the process. The process provides for the identification of the most highly qualified firms by a Professional Services Selection Committee that includes representatives from several District divisions and the community. Attachment C identifies the specific committee members participating in this selection and the organization represented by each. |

As of Wednesday, November 4, 2015, the remaining balance less encumbrances for this line item equaled $3,630,438.00. | |
